The Government of Telangana has transferred 16 IAS officers. Navin Mittal who is currently serving as the Commissioner, Collegiate Education & Technical Education and Commissioner Intermediate Education & Secretary, Intermediate Board will take charge as Principal Secretary, Land Revenue and Registration.
Mr Navin Mittal brought in sweeping changes in the education department and spearheaded several innovative schemes including Degree Online Services, Telangana (DOST). Thousands of students across the state have been benefitted by the scheme. Students hitherto who could not dream of studying in Hyderabad, especially from the hinterland started getting admissions whilst applying from their villages and towns.
The number of admissions in Government Degree Colleges increased by leaps during his tenure and he has been instrumental in introducing multi-disciplinary subjects and combinations in degree courses. He is a 1996-batch Indian Administrative Service officer. He is a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Bharati Hollikeri, Collector, Mancherial district, is transferred and posted as Spl. Secretary & Commissioner, Women & Child Welfare & Senior Citizen Department duly relieving Dr. Christina Z.Chongthu, IAS from FAC of the said post.
Amoy Kumar Rangareddy Collector is transferred and posted as Collector of Medchal Malkajgiri duly relieving S.Harish from FAC of the said post.
Amoy Kumar is also placed in FAC of the post of Collector & District Magistrate, Hyderabad, until further orders.S.Harish, Collector, Medak is transferred and posted as the new Collector  of Rangareddy.
Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu, Collector, Hanamkonda district is transferred and posted as Nizamabad Collector vice Sri Narayana Reddy transferred.
On transfer, Sri Narayana Reddy is posted as Collector & District Magistrate, Vikarabad vice K. Nikhila transferred.
Sikta Patnaik Adilabad Collector is transferred and  posted  as  Collector, Hanamkonda district.
Rahul Raj P.S, Collector, Kumrambheem-Asifabad district is transferred and posted as new Collector of Adilabad.
Shaik Yasmeen Basha, Collector, Wanaparthy is transferred and posted as Collector of Kumrambheem-Asifabad.
G.Ravi, Collector, Jagtial is transferred and posted as Collector of Mahabubnagar vice S. Venkata Rao transferred. On transfer, Sri S. Venkata Rao is posted as Collector of Suryapet duly relieving Hemanta Keshav Patil from FAC of the said post.
Badhavath Santhosh, Addl. Commissioner, GHMC is transferred and posted as Collector of Mancherial.
Rajarshi Shah, Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Sangareddy is transferred and posted as new Collector of Medak.
Tejas Nandlal Pawar, Addl. Collector (Local Bodies), Mahabubnagar is transferred and posted as Collector of Wanaparthy.
Karnati Varun Reddy, PO, ITDA, Utnoor is transferred and posted  as  Collector of Nirmal vice Musharraf Ali Faruqui transferred.
Sri R.V. Karnan, Collector, Karimnagar is placed in FAC of the post of Collector of Jagtial, until further orders.
