New Delhi: The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Atal Innovation Mission under NITI Aayog, has launched Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025—India’s largest student innovation movement. School students from Classes 6 to 12 are encouraged to participate and contribute to building a self-reliant and sustainable India.
What Is the Viksit Bharat Buildathon?
The Buildathon is not just a competition; it’s a platform for students to collaborate in teams of 5–7 and develop innovative solutions for real-world challenges. Projects will revolve around four key national themes:
- Aatmanirbhar Bharat – Building self-reliant systems and solutions
- Swadeshi – Promoting indigenous ideas and innovations
- Vocal for Local – Supporting local products, crafts, and resources
- Samriddhi – Creating pathways to sustainable growth
Submissions include photos and videos, which will be evaluated by a national panel of experts. Top teams will receive prizes, mentorship, corporate support, and access to resources to advance their innovations.
