Government of Telangana, Collegiate Education and Technical Education Department, and IndiGlobal Media Network jointly conducted “IndiGlobal Education Festival” (IGEF) on 4th December at Hyderabad Marriott Hotel and Convention Centre. Shri Navin Mittal, IAS, Commissioner, Collegiate and Technical Education Department, Govt of Telangana was the Programme Chair and Mentor for IGESS. Mr. Sudheer Goutham, Founder, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of IndiGlobal Media Network, was the Programme Director.
Shri Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Principal Secretary, Government of Telangana graced the occasion with his presence as Keynote Speaker along with more than 30 high profile speakers from government and academia who are engaged in the pursuit of making education rise above to greater benchmarks. They glittered the event with knowledge and powerful insights.
The mega festival was also an occasion to launch a special coffee table book to highlight the initiatives of Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA). The festival was supported by Government of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), Embassies, IITs, NITs, and other apex education bodies of the country. IGEF was powered by Coursera, while SR University and RNIT were prominent partners. The vibrant festival got unfolded in three components – Conference, Exhibition, and Awards. 31 individuals and institutional awards were presented for exemplary contributions in the field of education.
The highlight of the event was musical rendition by Smt Sunita Bhuyan, eminent musician and leadership trainer who mesmerized the audience with her eclectic performance. The esteemed speakers of the IndiGlobal Education Festival expressed their happiness over the superb quality of knowledge exchange platform that IGEF served for policymakers, thought leaders, state administrators, technology and industry leaders, innovators, international experts, and edutech leaders. They enriched the event with discussions on importance and best practices in education, skill, technology, innovation, emerging trends, research and development for sustainable growth and way forward.
