Hyderabad – The launch of The TODDLERS’ Way – A Panda’s Parenting Guide by Dr. Chandrashekar and Mrs. Saviola Lobo in Hyderabad was more than just a book unveiling—it became a platform for reflection on the values and principles that shape children into compassionate, confident leaders of tomorrow.
The heartwarming event opened with Dr. Chandrashekar’s presentation, “The Journey to the Book”, where he shared how the panda’s calmness and balance inspired his approach to parenting. “Parenting doesn’t have to feel like a constant struggle. With a little more calm, empathy, and rhythm, we can help our toddlers—and ourselves—thrive,” he said.

Co-author Mrs. Saviola Lobo added, “This book is not just a guide—it is a companion for parents. It reflects the everyday challenges and joys of raising little ones, while offering gentle tools to help them grow into confident, kind individuals.”
The launch featured a Publisher’s Note by Mr. Vineet Gera, the formal Book Unveiling Ceremony, and a keynote address by educationist Mr. Balasubramanian (Bala Sir). An engaging quiz, a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mrs. Lobo, and a book-signing session concluded the celebration.
The highlight of the day was a dynamic panel discussion titled “Parenting Little Rebels to Shaping Future Leaders,” moderated by Dr. Chandrashekar, who also serves as CEO of Jain Group of Schools. The session drew leading educationists into a conversation on the single most important value to nurture in children today.
G. Sri Vidya Reddy, Vice Chairperson of G. Pulla Reddy Educational Institutes, emphasized gratitude as the cornerstone of growth. “When children are grateful and mindful of what they have, it builds respect, appreciation, and a drive to protect their good life,” she observed, warning against the dangers of entitlement in young minds.

Ramesh Mudgal, Director of Chirec International School, brought attention to the African philosophy of Ubuntu—“I am because you are.” He urged a shift away from excessive individualism toward a sense of shared progress. “Success is meaningful only when you uplift those around you,” he remarked, calling for a stronger culture of community belonging in families and schools.
Adding another dimension, Seetha Murthy, Director–Education of Silver Oaks International School, stressed that character must precede competence. “It’s okay if you’re not great in math, but not okay to lack integrity. Character must come first, skills next,” she said, highlighting honesty and openness as essential foundations for the future.
The discussion resonated deeply with the audience, leaving delegates with a powerful takeaway: education and parenting must go beyond academics, focusing on gratitude, community, and character to shape future-ready citizens.
By blending the practical wisdom of parenting from The TODDLERS’ Way with the aspirational guidance of educators, the Hyderabad event celebrated not just the launch of a book, but a collective vision for nurturing values that endure across generations.

The TODDLERS’ Way – A Panda’s Parenting Guide is now available in print and e-book formats.
