Telangana’s Education Department inks MoU with University of Wisconsin-Stout

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Higher & Technical Education Department and University of Wisconsin entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on several fronts including exchange of students, training and joint projects here in Hyderabad at the 2nd IndiGlobal Education Festival recently.

Dr. Katherine Frank, Chancellor, The University of Wisconsin-Stout, Menomonie, Wisconsin, USA said, “We are very excited by this MoU and it is a wonderful partnership opportunity for us as we think how to engage with partners in exchange on training or joint projects.” “It’s an excellent way for us when we see education from a global perspective. This is really a remarkable opportunity for our students. We collaborate very closely with business and industry and learn from them. When we learn our course curriculum, we build our laboratory and our studio. We also supply those laboratories and studios with the equipment. We are admired by the very fast and business industry,” added Dr. Katherine

Navin Mittal, IAS, Commissioner, Collegiate Education & Technical Education, Govt of Telangana said, “This MoU is described as an Umbrella MoU to enhance the cooperation between the state of Telangana and University of Wisconsin-Stout, Menomonie, Wisconsin, USA which is working in multiple areas like students exchange faculties and staff exchange. It will extend to publications and exchange of academicians as well.” He further added, “I think this is very momentous occasion for both and I am confident that this will lead to a great cooperation between Telangana and the University of Wisconsin which will ultimately help students and faculty.”
