A Special Memorandum of Understanding between the Telangana State Technical Education Department and Indo German professional Courses Council was signed at the 2nd IndiGlobal Media Education Festival 2022 on September 17, 2022.
The initiative has been taken to upgrade the students’ skills in E mobility. With the motive to help prepare the future generation of engineers to be able to design, maintain and ensure that the vehicles are the safest possible this e-Vehicle curriculum has been brought up.
Dr Rodney Reviere, Project Team Leader, Indo-German Programme for Vocational Education and Training said, “We have been working on the professional courses project for the last four years and our main approach is to bring the country and industry more actively involved in education. We truly believe that the only way to master a skill is to do it. We promote practical education and training to impart skills. He added, “The MoU which we have just exchanged is particularly in e-Mobility. We are super pleased that we are able to work together here in Telangana to share our expertise and knowledge along with professionalism and enthusiasm that I have seen here in the state skilling mission.
On how this MoU is going to benefit the state, Navin Mittal, IAS, Commissioner, Collegiate Education & Technical Education, Govt of Telangana said, “I am extremely pleased that today we have signed this MoU between the Indo German professional Educational Council and our Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training on developing this Electric Vehicle curriculum for polytechnic students to begin with and we will extend it to the engineering students also. I am happy to share that in the last two years we added more than 25 thousand seats in the state of Telangana in emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, ML, Data Science, Cyber Security and Robotics.
