Amit Singhal, Head-Business Transformation and Skill Initiatives, Ansys Software, spoke at the IndiGlobal Bharat Summit 2023. Here are excerpts from the talk.
Technology-driven research and investment have always been priorities for businesses worldwide. Understanding this scenario, the honourable Prime Minister of India aims to equip India to become a prominent global centre for research and manufacturing. India is continuing to make rapid strides in all spheres. Considering the industry trends, I see EVs to be on the fast track, and we are all set to achieve what Amitabh Kant, the former Niti Aayog chief and G20 Sherpa once said that India should target 100 percent electric two-wheelers by 2026. On a similar note, another technology that is making waves is drones. There is much buzz, with many startups entering the fray and many government projects coming up. This is a crucial technology as our boundaries will be protected using drones and related technology.
