Ola Electric has opened sale of – Ola Electric S1 and S1 Pro – its two new electric scooters, after a month of their launch on August 15. Customers who had pre-booked their scooters, will be able to complete their bookings now and finalize their choice of variant. A total of 10 variants are available.
Bhavish Aggarwal CEO of Ola Electric tweeted, “Bring the revolution home! Ola S1 purchase is rolling out now!! We’re opening it in the order of reservation. Look for your invitation email or check the Ola app to know when it’s live for you! #JoinTheRevolution.”
The price of S1 and S1 Pro are Rs 99,999 and Rs 1,29,999, respectively. This is ex-showroom including FAME II subsidy and excluding state subsidies. Customers have option to either pay in full or purchase the EV on loan and pay EMI of either Rs 2,999 or Rs 3,199 per month depending upon their choice of scooter. The sale was to start from September 8 but due to technical glitches it got delayed by a week.
