WORLD HEART DAY
Surprised why so many youngsters are dying due to heart attacks? The answer is simple: Lifestyle and not betting screened say Cardiologists. It is a well-known fact that heart attacks or heart failures were common among people after the age 50 but not anymore. Blame it on modern day living and present lifestyle. World Heart Day 2022 is observed every year on September 29 to raise awareness about the rising concerns of heart health, cardiovascular illnesses and how heart care is of utmost importance.
“Inspired by the theme for this year, we at AIG Hospitals decided to conduct this Wellness Screening Camp where anyone can walk-in and get a basic health screening done for free. The objective is to encourage more people to have an outlook about their current health status and based on their risk score, we can then identify those who need further extensive evaluation,” Dr. D Nageshwar Reddy, Chairman, AIG Hospitals said.
