National Technology Day has an historical importance in our Country. This day is commemorated as an achievement of India’s technical advances, since on May 11, 1998, India has successfully tested nuclear weapons in Pokhran and every year on this day, officials pay honor to India’s scientists for their achievements.

We all know that technological growth is affecting the country’s livelihood and status. National Technology Day is observed in India to honor the remarkable hard work and achievements of Indian scientists.

If we talk about the key technologies, AI & Digital transformation is observed everywhere in our daily routine. The digital twin technology can also be seen in collecting data, creating simulations that can predict how a product or process will perform.

Similarly, the key technology shift in the manufacturing sector is deploying technology solutions driven by Artificial Intelligence. Some of these AI driven use cases include:

1) Detection of anomalies and perform predictive maintenance to save huge repair costs. IOT devices help with collection of relevant datasets

 2) Improve quality control by statistical process control 3) Inspection of products/components using AI based visual tech and thereby reduce human errors

Post-pandemic, there is no more dispute that digitization is the key to survival of every business. Even in very “physical” sectors such as supply chain and logistics, technology has taken a central role. Supply Chain organizations are investing heavily into IoT, AI, Collaboration, Robotic Process Automation among others.

“The entire ecosystem, industries and sectors have to work together to make this a reality. Sustainable processes enabled by Artificial Intelligence, Analytics and Market Intelligence Capabilities can help industry navigate through this transformational journey and save the planet. New capabilities will guide customers as they progress through the stages of maturity in the transformation process, from gaining basic situational awareness to intelligent network analysis and design and, ultimately, to end to end supply chain visibility and collaboration”. – Jayaraman Krishnamurthy, Head of Industry Strategy and Sales, o9 Solutions India

“This May 11th, our National Technology Day, I would like to thank all whose contributions we are enjoying which also spur us to chip in. Anuj Vaid For far too long, the concept of ‘development’ is based on how much of earth’s resources have been exploited efficiently. This has created its own challenges – climate change being key. Indians have historically looked at holistic development and it is this differentiated approach that we should embrace as we bring to bear new technological interventions for a superior sustainable future. Thought leadership intermeshed with intrinsically sustainable designs must propel our technology leadership on the global stage.”- Anuj Vaid, CEO,  CMS IT Services,

“On national technology day, We must remind ourselves of the saying of Steve jobs. “ It’s not a faith in technology, it’s faith in people” . The best technologies always have ingredients of empowering people and bringing them together both as the creator and user of the technology. As humans we shouldn’t forget it.”-SIDHARTH KULBHASKAR – Founder, Myla.in

“What is even more exciting is the potential of disruptions thanks to emerging technologies such as 5G, Augmented and Virtual Reality. One key difference in today’s world is the spread of technology globally. Indian companies are deploying the same tech and tools as their counterparts in developed nations. Not just that, Indian start-ups are deploying technology perfected in Indian markets for global companies. This two-way exchange of tech knowledge is a defining feature of our times” – Apurva Mankad, CEO and Founder, WebXpress

“The future is much larger and many times scarier than it has ever looked in the past. Smart companies are ones that would use technology as a smart platform for all stakeholders to seamlessly collaborate, paving the way for connected business. Omni-channel experiences will continue to evolve so far as to let consumers enjoy a seamless shopping experience – both offline and online. Gofrugal will continue to make technology easy, intuitive, and affordable to help businesses, agnostic of size and style, to stay competitive. Gofrugal has, is, and will continue to enable businesses to win by letting them work with minimal staff, with least skills, yet make 100% reliable with accurate predictions and decision recommendations-based solutions ”  – Mr. Kumar Vembu, CEO & Co-Founder, GOFRUFRGAL.

“ Technology and innovation have truly revolutionized the global payroll industry like any other industry. The use of technology is now focused on providing a seamless employee experience. This, combined with real-time reporting and analytics, has resulted in a significant shift in the way businesses operate in recent years. Citing Neeyamo, a global payroll solutions provider for businesses worldwide is building a payroll ecosystem to completely digitize what is otherwise a transactional and repetitive process. Providers such as Neeyamo are using technology to simplify the complexities of global payroll. The global payroll system/technology of Neeyamo is the center of global payroll outsourcing services. The global payroll system is the sole reason Neeyamo can provide global payroll services in over 150 countries and allied payroll systems”. – Rangarajan Seshadri, CEO, Neeyamo

Furthermore, the COVID-19 has significantly impacted the technology industry, increasing the emphasis on leveraging technology to process any services on time and accurately. Using cloud-based technology to improve secure anytime and anywhere access to ensure process continuity has also changed the overall payroll industry. AI, machine learning, and robotics are already part of the next-generation.
