Dimapur: Earlier this week, the Nagaland government implemented a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring several IAS, NCS, and NSS officers and assigning additional charges to strengthen administrative efficiency across key departments.

Major IAS-Level Changes

  • V. Shashank Shekhar (IAS) — Appointed as Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC) and Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture Department.
  • Y. Kikheto Sema (IAS) — Relieved from Law and Justice Department; takes additional charge of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (EF&CC) and Parliamentary Affairs.
  • Anoop Khinchi (IAS) — Continues as Commissioner & Secretary, Health and Family Welfare and takes additional charge of Law and Justice.

Key NCS & NSS Movements

  • Bodeno S. Colo (NCS) — Shifted from Secretary, Social Welfare to Secretary, Art & Culture.
  • Linda Solo (NCS) — Continues as Secretary, Evaluation and takes additional charge of National Rural Employment (NRE).
  • Kikumsangla Jamir (NCS) — Promoted and posted as Joint Secretary, Planning & Transformation.
  • Atosheli Sema (NSS) — To hold additional charge of Art & Culture Department.
