Meridian, Banjara celebrates Investiture Day – 2022

Meridian School, Banjara Hills celebrated its 27th year of foundation and Investiture Ceremony today. The function began with a formal welcome, followed by the lighting of the lamp to the accompaniment of chanting of Slokas on Lord Ganesha.

Mrs. Nishi Rana, the Principal, Banjara Hills branch, in her welcome speech, highlighted the significance of the chosen theme and said that a child enters a classroom in all crudeness and the teacher as an expert sculptor, identifies the latent potentials, chisels, scrapes, resizes and moulds the student into a beautiful multi- dimensional and well developed personality.

Investiture Ceremony for Pre- primary, Primary and the High School classes was held later. The Student Cabinet this year has a huge number, 40 in the Primary and 39 in the High school. The Principal administered the oath to newly constituted Student Council members. Mir Inayat Khan is the Head Boy and Navya Madiraju the Head Girl, Mohd.Zohair Artaash the Pre Primary Head Boy and Hafsa Zubair Ahmed the Pre Primary Head Girl, Aryaman the Junior Head Boy and Sara Kazmi as the Junior Head Girl.

CEO of Butta Group of Schools, Dr. D. Usha Reddy advised the student leaders to practise the values of punctuality, dedication, discipline and determination as they are the torch bearers of tomorrow.

Co-Founder of Butta Group of schools, Mrs. Butta Renuka congratulated the young leaders and implored them to draw inspiration from their teachers who are the real sculptors of their bright future tomorrow.

Mr. Pratul Butta and Mr. Amogh Butta, the COOs of the Group and Principals and Heads of the sister concern schools at Madhapur, Kukatpally and Uppal also attended.
