Intermediate exam results out in TS; Girls outshine boys

Intermediate Public Examinations 2022 were released by Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy today (June 28). The pass percentage in senior Intermediate was 67.16 percent while in junior Inter it was 63.32 percent. While 4,42,895 students appeared for the second year exams in general and vocational streams, of them 2,97,458 have passed.
Similarly, 2,94,378 students cleared the first year exams in general and vocational streams from 4,64,892 who had appeared for the exams.

Meanwhile, girls have outshined boys in both first and second year results. In the second year, the pass percentage for girls was 75.28 while for boys it was 59.21 per cent. In the first year, 72.33 per cent girls passed the exam as against 54.25 per cent among boys. If we look at district wise results, Medchal Malkajgiri stood first among all districts with a pass percentage of 76 and 78 in the first and second years respectively.

Komaram Bheem Asifabad district finished second with 77 per cent in second year results while Hanamkonda district came second with 74 pass percentage in the first year.The Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Exams would be conducted from August 1 and students can register from June 30.
