Retired Indian Police Service officer P.V. Sunil Kumar has approached the Enforcement Directorate seeking an investigation into alleged bank loan fraud involving ₹2,011.72 crore and companies linked to the Ind-Barath Group, according to a report published on November 2.
The complaint seeks examination of alleged diversion of funds and requests registration of an Enforcement Case Information Report. The submission of a complaint does not mean that the Enforcement Directorate has registered a case or substantiated the allegations.

The development is of interest in Andhra Pradesh because it places a former senior police officer at the centre of a public accountability initiative. Any subsequent decision by the agency to open proceedings, seek records or issue a response would constitute a separate, reportable development.
The allegations must be treated as claims made in a complaint unless supported by independent findings. IndiGlobal has not independently reviewed the underlying banking records or confirmed the agency’s response.
