A high-powered gathering in New Delhi on 13 December will explore how technology and collaboration can accelerate India’s vision of Viksit Bharat.
New Delhi is set to host one of the country’s most anticipated conversations on the future of higher education as Digii100 2025 returns for its third edition on Saturday, 13 December 2025, at Le Méridien. After two widely appreciated editions, this year’s summit comes with a sharper purpose and a theme that resonates with the national vision for growth: Digital Excellence in Higher Education Institutions for Viksit Bharat.
The organisers have extended a special invitation to Shri C P Radhakrishnan, Hon’ble Vice President of India, to preside as Chief Guest. His confirmation is awaited, and the summit community hopes to have his presence at this pivotal gathering.
Born out of three clear insights, Digii100 set out with a simple mission. Education remains one of humanity’s most powerful pursuits, shaping societies in lasting ways. Technology has transformed every major sector and its potential to redefine classrooms, campuses and careers is immense. And meaningful change happens only when leaders sit together, challenge assumptions and co-create solutions. That spirit continues to define Digii100 2025, which remains an invite-only, community-driven, no-sales platform focused on genuine collaboration.
The idea of Viksit Bharat underscores an India where education and technology work in harmony to drive inclusion, innovation and economic advancement. As the country moves towards becoming a knowledge-powered economy, the higher education system must integrate skills, research and digital transformation more deeply than ever before. Technology has already moved beyond being a support tool. It has become a catalyst influencing how institutions teach, operate and prepare students for a future shaped by digital fluency.
The Digii100 Summit seeks to recognise the top 100 Higher Education Institutions that are pioneering this transformation and contributing to the nation’s digital and developmental aspirations. Over the past two editions, the summit has matured into a prestigious national platform that brings together vice chancellors, policymakers, technologists, industry leaders and education innovators.
More than 500 leaders have participated in previous editions. Distinguished voices who have shaped the dialogue include Smt Tamilisai Soundararajan, former Governor of Telangana; Prof Anil D Sahasrabudhe, Chairman of NETF, NAAC and NBA; Shri Suresh Prabhu, former Union Minister; Shri Robin Hibu, DGP New Delhi; and Prof Vinay Kumar Pathak, President of the Association of Indian Universities. Among the standout moments was the launch of the Student Experience Framework by Digii and KPMG, which offered institutions a clear roadmap to strengthen student engagement and outcomes. Sessions on artificial intelligence, institutional change management, next generation technologies including 6G, and best practices from leading campuses have added to the summit’s reputation as a space for thought leadership.

The 2025 edition will see wide participation from some of the most respected names in academia, policy and industry.
