Chitkara University once again dominates the NIRF Rankings – 2021, outshining its own brilliant record from last year by ranking even higher nationally for Architecture, Pharmacy, Management and Engineering programs.
National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), has awarded A+ rating to Punjab’s Chitkara University. Only 5% Higher Education Institutions (HEI) in India have been awarded with such a coveted grade. Chitkara scored a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.26 on a 4 point scale.
Good infrastructure, good education, innovation and research arrangements; cleanliness in the entire campus; location of the institute and good placement opportunities played in the university’s favour.
Chitkara University has been founded by Dr. Ashok Chitkara and Dr. Madhu Chitkara, who have been working as teachers for more than 40 years. Within a decade of the university’s launch, most of the academic programs are ranked in top 50 programs in the country. NAAC accredition is very prestigious for any university. It is an autonomous body of UGC which assesses and accredits Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).
