Jeff Bezos led Amazon Inc is all set to launch its own brand’s TV next month. Soon to be launched Amazon TV will be powered by its voice assistant Alexa. It will be launched in 75-inch and 55-inch sizes in United States. The TVs are getting manufactured by third-party makers, like TCL. It has been under development since 2019.
This is not the first time that Amazon TV is being launched. The company has presence in the TV market since quite some years and has been offering affordable TVs under the Amazon Basics brand so far.
The tech giant has also partnered with BestBuy to sell Toshiba and Insignia TVs that have been running Amazon’s Fire TV software. In India, the company has been selling Ondia, Croma and Amazon Basics TVs with Fire TV software, in the range of ₹16,499 to ₹50,990.
Amazon has also been selling Fire TV Stick and Fire TV Cube. These are the products that turn a TV into a smart TV. The third generation Fire TV Stick is available for ₹3,999, and the Fire TV Stick 4K can be bought for 5,999. The Fire TV Cube comes with a price tag of ₹12,999.
