Seven Jharkhand IAS Officers Reportedly Proposed for Central Joint Secretary Empanelment

Seven Jharkhand IAS Officers

A reported proposal concerning seven IAS officers from Jharkhand has drawn attention to potential central government opportunities for members of the state cadre.

According to regional reporting dated October 27, names of seven officers of the 2011 batch have been forwarded for consideration for Joint Secretary level empanelment. The reported names include Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri and officers Rahul Kumar Sinha, Chhavi Ranjan and Rajeshwari B.

Empanelment is an eligibility process for consideration for senior central assignments. It does not by itself mean an officer has been appointed to a new position or promoted in the state cadre.

The proposal and complete list of officers could not be independently checked against an official Department of Personnel and Training order. The reported development therefore remains subject to official confirmation.

Any subsequent approval would be of interest to Jharkhand’s administrative establishment, particularly as officers with district and state level experience move into consideration for national policy roles.
