The much awaited Intermediate Examination results in Andhra Pradesh are out. The IPE results were declared by the state education minister Botsa Satyanarayana in Vijaywada. Students can check their results at the official website — bie.ap.gov.in and manabadi.com.
This year around 4.33 lakh students appeared for the first year exam out of which nearly 2.66 lakh qualified the exam. The overall pass percentage stood at 61 per cent. The pass percentage of boys was 58 per cent, while pass percentage of girls stood at 65 per cent.
This year, the intermediate exams for first year began on March 15 and concluded on April 3 and for second year they were held from March 16 to April 4. Around 3.7 lakh students appeared for second year exam and nearly 2.7 lakh students successfully cleared the exam. The overall pass percentage is 72 per cent. The pass percentage for boys stood at 68 per cent, while for girls the pass percentage was 75 per cent.
Girls outperformed boys in both first year and second year. Krishna district had the highest passing percentage for both first year and second with 75 per cent and 83 per cent respectively.
This year, Exams were held at 1489 centres across the state.
