WOMEN Suffering from PCOS Have Hope of Motherhood

PCOS is a spectrum of disorders leading to:

• Infertility
• Obesity
• Insulin resistance

Reproductive health in PCOS:

It has been noted that PCOS along with obesity, metabolic disorders, and inflammation of the endocrine system affects the quality of eggs in the reproductive system of women. This causes sub-fertility issues in them and they need to undergo treatment to rectify and conceive easily.

Young women of reproductive age suffering from PCOS are found to have:

• Regular missing menstrual cycles without being pregnant
• Acne, obesity, heaviness in the body
• Unable to conceive despite repeated attempts
• Experiencing diabetes type symptoms like increased thirst, hunger, blurred vision and also in some cases sudden weight loss.

• Treatment must be completed as it can be prolonged in those who have suffered for a long time.
• Young women who suffer from this have to approach early as it helps to rectify the problem faster.
• Treatment of infertility has also helped women overcome the problem and helps in conception.

It has been noted that PCOS is a challenge from the age group of 18 to 30 years of age in women. For this reason, those who attend motherhood find that their problem is resolved. It is also due to the changes in the ovary and adrenal function in metabolic regulation.
