Technology Thrills Me

A techie turned entrepreneur, this former John Deer associate is a firm believer that the future of India lies in digital transformation and he wants to do his bit. Fired by passion, armed with a degree in Computer Science and over 15 years of experience, Sachin Vishwase left his high paying job and took a plunge in entrepreneurship two years ago. He is one of the founding directors at TrendWorx and a partner at Equations Work. He looks after sales and pre-sales and is at the forefront of tech solutions.

Technology thrills me

You can call me a tech freak! Handing out tech solutions to everyday problems especially in government departments is challenging and a lot of fun. I worked with several state governments and the union government in the area of smart cities, automation and everything to do with digitisation.

Presently, my company and I are working with Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and at Delhi for the union Government.

What keeps me going!

Every day throws new challenges. India is progressing at break neck speed and almost all governments and in all verticals there are so many opportunities and challenges. Providing solutions gives immense satisfaction-for instance, we proposed a solution to the problem of converting ‘minutes-of-the-meeting’ that are in vernacular language into English. This convergence solution can help the government is several ways. Then there is the solution we provided for vehicle classification by using the CCTV image processing.

I also have the responsibility of my family and 75 employees. There is so much we can do with technology. We do a lot with Ai and ML. We do predictive analysis with AI enabled chat box. The smile of the face of the customer when he gets a solution is something that cannot be described.

My growing up years

I come from a rural background and had my early education in a Zilla Parishad school. I moved to the taluk headquarters for my 11 th and 12 th standard and then to Baramati, 150 km away from my home. Once I moved to Pune and kept shuttling between Pune and Mumbai life threw its challenges. The first two years were difficult in terms of communication and adjusting to the culture.

I was always strong in technology and that has kept me in good stead. Over a period of time, I overcame ‘communication’ challenge. The last post that I held as an employee was that of a technical architect.

Plunge into entrepreneurship

After working for 15 years and gaining enough experience, the thought of starting something and doing on my own became stronger by the day. After doing a lot of research for two years, I finally took the plunge two years ago. Another reason for taking the entrepreneurial route is the recent changes in the union government that is giving impetus to digitalisation. The digital India mission inspires me.

My day begins thus:

I hit the gym at 6:30 in the morning and spend a good one hour. It helps me take on the world with renewed energy. Once I am in office, I am with clients and that is between 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. My family comprises wife, two kids and my parents.

Every month I am in Hyderabad for 3 days, two days in Mumbai and three or four days in other cities depending on work. I am away from Pune for close to 10 days in a month. I like to spend as much time as possible time with my family.

Love driving

I prefer taking the road and have completed a tour of southern India. I also did MP, Gujarat and AP. The northeast is pending as far as road travel is concerned.

My motto!

Karm Karte Raho. Do not expect anything. Do whatever it takes with utmost sincerity and what has to come your way will at any cost. Having a clear intention is important.
