Prof R. Limbadri appointed as Officiating Chairman of Telangana State Council of Higher Education

Vice-Chairman of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), Prof. R. Limbadri is now the Officiating Chairman of TSCHE. He has taken the place of T.Papi Reddy who had been serving as the first Chairman of TSCHE since 2014, right from when the state of Telangana got formed. After successfully completing his first term he was renominated for the second term. Later, he got an extension for one more year.

Prof. Limbadri has done his Ph.D. from Osmania University, Hyderabad (1993), M.Phil. from Osmania University, Hyderabad (1990), and M.A. (Public Administration) from Osmania University, Hyderabad, (1988). His native place is Ravutla, Sirikonda, Nizamabad.

He has teaching experience of more than 25 years. As far as administrative experiences are concerned, he has been Officer on Special Duty at Osmania University, Hyderabad, Registrar -Telangana University, Nizamabad (April 2013-Jul 2016) – two terms, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Telangana University, Nizamabad, Chairman – BOS, Telangana University, Nizamabad, Joint Director – Academic Audit ( April 2008 – June 2012), Vice Principal, P.G College, Secunderabad (2005- 2008), Chairman, BOS, Department of Public Administration, O.U. – Hyderabad (2012 – 2013), Coordinator, Centre for Distance Education, and O. U., Hyderabad (1991 – 1999).

Rural Governance, Institutional growth and Development are his areas of interest. Prof. Limbadri has received many awards and accolades and has 3 international and 13 national published works to his credit. He has participated in over 40 international and national seminars, conferences and workshops so far.
