Nanoscopy is the new ‘no stitch – no knife” surgery
IndiGlobal Bureau
Nanoscopy is the latest and revolutionary technological advancement in shoulder and sports surgeries. A Needle Camera of size less than 2mm allows the surgeon to directly view the joint on a TV screen with a skin poke without the necessity to cut the skin with a knife. It is exactly like giving an injection to the patient. It’s called Nanoscopy because of its miniature size. Once we view the joint, we can identify various types of defects and we can repair them with the help of Nanoscope.
The advantages of Nanoscopy are
1. Patient won’t require any stitches
2. As it can be done under local anesthesia, the patient can go home on the same day.
3. Pain is very minimal.
