Microsoft ties up with Apollo for digital healthcare solutions of employees

Microsoft India and the digital arm of the Apollo Hospitals Group have joined hands and launched enterprise solution within the Microsoft work suite after running a three months pilot program for Microsoft India employees. With the integration of Apollo, the organization’s employees can get various medical facilities such as vaccine booking, medical teleconsultation, diagnostic tests, pharmacy, wellness programs, and electronic health records within a span of few seconds by just a few clicks.
Microsoft employees can consult Apollo Doctors within 15 minutes of sending consultation request. They can order medicines from the wide network of Apollo Pharmacies and get sample collection done from home.
5,000 Microsoft employees had participated in the pilot program in which they were given access to the enterprise platform. More than half of them opted for virtual consultations with Apollo doctors between the months of April and June. Over 2,600 medicine orders were also placed using the App, during this time. The medicines were delivered at the doorsteps of the consumers in record time. Microsoft employees had access to over 7,000 specialists and doctors across the Apollo network. In these pandemic times
organizations are increasingly wanting to make wellness resources easier for their employees. Microsoft-Apollo partnership is a model of such approach.
