31-year old man from Kerala tests positive

India reported its second Monkeypox case on Monday and this also happens to be from Kerala. A 31 year old man from Kannur district tested positive for this disease. He was admitted to Pariyaram Medical College Kannur. The person returned to his native state from Dubai on July 13.
A 35-year old Kerala man who returned from the UAE tested positive for the virus. Centre then rushed a high-level multi-disciplinary team of top health officials to collaborate with Kerala health authorities for instituting public health measures
