M Devraj, IAS, a 1996 batch officer has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Technical Education Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh. He was previously working as CMD, at UPPCL. M Devraj has served as the Collector & District Magistrate in ten districts across Uttar Pradesh, overseeing populations ranging from 2 to 4 million people.
M Devraj has worked in several departments and led many programmes in different sectors including Agriculture, Rural Development, and Education. A seasoned administrator, he brings a wealth of knowledge in implementing projects of large magnitude. He has led several projects in rural development and education. This appointment is being seen as significant and the government is hopeful that he would bring far reaching changes in Technical Education department.
