AP Govt Reshuffles Officers

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh state government on Monday affected bureaucratic transfers. Senior IAS officer (1991 batch) RP Sisodia, Special Chief Secretary to Government, has been transferred and posted the Special Chief Secretary to the AP State Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan. The GO noted that the Rythu Bharosa Kendras become nodal agency from seed distribution to procurement of final agricultural produce and also the means of convergence for tying up of forward and backward linkages in agriculture activities, the food processing secretary and principal secretary marketing will work in coordination with special chief secretary to government, agriculture and cooperation department. In other transfers, Ravi Shankar Narayan, Sudagani IRS officer (2000 batch), Director General, Drugs and Copyrights and Drug Control Administration was transferred and posted as Chief Commissioner of State Taxes replacing Piyush Kumar, IAS (1997 batch). Piyush Kumar has been directed to report to the Government in the General Administrative Department.
