School of Management Studies (SOMS) of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme. This flagship MBA programme of the IGNOU has been restructured as per the industry academia requirements. Students can choose from specializations like Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Marketing Management, Operations Management and Services Management. The programme is available from this (2021) academic year cycle. A bachelor’s degree with at least 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for reserved category) is the criteria for admission. There is no entrance test. Minimum duration to complete this programme is 2 years while maximum duration is 4 years.
