16 startups selected for Google’s 5th Accelerator Program

Out of 700 applicants, 16 Indian startups have been selected for Google’s 5th Accelerator Program. They will receive 3 months of support and mentorship from the network of Google and industry mentors. Google’s Accelerator Program has accelerated over 80 startups in the past. These startups have went on to collectively raise more than $1.9 Bn in funding.

Support to selected start-ups ranges from tech guidance on projects, machine learning related support, access to Google teams, leadership workshops, UX and design mentorship, networking opportunities, and PR support, to name a few. The selected startups have been working on post-Covid solutions in India, with a special focus on edtech, healthtech, agritech, fintech, retail and SaaS.

EkinCare, AgNext, Goals101, Nemocare Wellness, OkCredit, Zypp Electric, Bolo Live (Bolo Indya), Yoda, Hypd, EloElo: Aquaconnect, Bullet, MedCords, LegitQuest, KareXpert and Walrus are the selected participants of this year’s Google Accelarator Program.

Selection criteria involved expertise in deeply technical operations, preferably leveraging technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The startups were also selected on the basis of demonstration of traction, ideally between seed and Series A stage. Building a scalable service or product with a substantial market and good growth model were also selection criterias.
